In local news, our Clearwater, FL, reader reports that his local CompUSA store marked down several new discontinued iMacs. The iMac DV G3/400 Special Edition dropped to $1,299 while the five-flavored iMac DV G3/400 64/10.0/DVD/56k/100BT fell to $999. Our reader reports a lone refurbished iMac G3/350 for $699. Update: an Alpharetta, GA (metro Atlanta), reader reports the same at the local CompUSA.
